Cydne has been practicing yoga since it was introduced to her in 2002. It was an immediate love, and has remained a part of her life ever since. Initially she valued it for the physical strength it grew in her; but when faced with struggles in her personal life, she was quickly amazed at the spiritual and mental strengthening benefits it grew as well. Having off and on struggled with addiction over the years, yoga is what helped her come to peace with her spiritual center. It improved her ability to calm and quiet from within, allowing growth and happiness to pour out into her daily life beyond the mat.
The changes she experienced in her life inspired her to acquire her 200-hour yoga teacher certification at The Sweatshop in Phoenix, AZ. Soon thereafter she began teaching Hot Yoga for Addiction Recovery with Spiritually Fit, Non-Profit Organization. She looks forward to every opportunity she receives to be able to share her experience, strength and hope with others. It is her goal to ignite that spark of joy and strength in the lives of those in the recovery community.
